Walmart is selling Wilson Titanium balls for $3.18 a can.   They are essentially the same price as Costco gets for basic Penn balls.  The Titanium balls that I have used has good bounce and match wear.  Not tournament level but good practice match balls.

Wilson Titanium Tennis balls at a good price

I purchased this can of tennis balls because, having taken lessons as a kid 30 years ago, I knew the brand to be durable and outstanding to play with.

However, this time, I needed a pair of these to slice open and affix to the 2 legs of my disabled dad's walker, following a major abdominal surgery in early June 2024. In short, he couldn't remotely walk normally, meaning his walker legs were digging into our wood floors more than perhaps someone else's walker would, as dad is a 6'2" 250 lb big guy. In short, these tennis balls are made so durably, that after cutting an "X" in a pair of them and sliding them onto the legs of his walker (2 wheels in the front, 2 legs in rear for those unfamiliar with walkers),  not only was he able to scoot silently around the house like a ninja, but my floors have completely been saved!!!

I was able to polish out the few scratches ge had previously put in the wood prior to the addition of the tennis balls to the walker, and he hasn't left a single mark since. The green felt has worn off maybe 70% from the areas directly touching the floor, but the black rubber balls underneath the felt dont have a single wear mark in either of them. 

While i know most people would be looking at this tennis ball review to see how the balls performed in a match, Id be willing to bet that using them on walker/walking aid legs is by far the second most common use of tennis balls (especially since dad still hasn't learned to play fetch as well as my dog, lol), so i wanted those of us with ill/aging relatives to have a review to read for our purposes as well. 

I just asked dad for his star rating opinion while writing this review and he told me to give these tennis balls for this price and this purpose a 4.8 out of 5. I at least agree, if not rating them a full 5 stars myself, since the scratches in the wood floors are my problem that i had to solve, for which im responsible upon my move out date, and for which my back is still angry with me.

So, walker users.......my father and I highly recommend these tennis balls as a non-scratch cushioning aid, at an average 4.9 ⭐⭐⭐⭐✨ out of 5. Would definitely purchase for the same rationale, even at a higher price, time and again. Floor Saver!!!🔥🔥🔥👍👍⭐⭐⭐⭐. And, most of all, didn't compromise dads walking/shuffling safety whatsoever in the process of saving my new floors, as his safety was my paramount concern...with my floors a semi close second.

Don't know about tennis but great for walker legs!

I bought these Wilson Titanium tennis balls for my dog who loves to play fetch. They are great because they last a long time bounce really good and are not expensive. I will definitely buy them again.

Needs improvement

Purchased 3 cans. Two cans were opened before I got them, and one of them didn't even have the right brand of tennis balls inside (obviously used and returned).

Received used balls

Item showed in stock when I placed order.  Then I received an email saying they were not. I only wanted these particular tennis balls.  I was substituted with a different type of ball—hard court.  I don't use those balls tennis balls.
