You don't get cut while holding them or anything, so they're good in that regard, but durability is severely lacking. They completely fell apart without a ton of use. I went through two of them just from scrubbing the inside of the skillet. If you don't need them to actually scrub anything then they'd be okay, but I wouldnt recommend them if you actually have to clean something.
