The M-D Premium Silicone Rubber Window Seal for Ex-Large Gaps is designed to protect against drafts, moisture, dust and insects. Save on energy by sealing windows keeping the heat or air conditioning from escaping. Made of Premium Silicone Rubber this seal exhibits very high resistance to extreme temperatures and remains flexible when below freezing. It also provides maximum resistance to wear and tear. The self-adhesive design is easy to install by simply pressing onto a clean and dry surface. No hardware required. Before installation, cut to desired length using scissors.

I started out with this product because my gaps were very wide. However, the door would not close. I think the product would not "smush" for the parts of the door where the gaps weren't as wide. So, I ended up using another MD product for starters - 3/8" wide (common) and 7/32" tall or thick. So, then we have gaps. Then, what I did was cut the top off of this product, leaving only the part that had the adhesive on the other side with a little edge on each side on top of the 7/32 strip. Now my door is as tight as a drum. I'm expecting my electrical and gas bills to dramatically decrease because it was like a wind blowing through. 1/8" gap around a door is comparable to a 6" square hole in the middle of the door.

Being willing to recreate is key!

had to wait a week for product, as is is usual with Walmart. much less product choices in store now. Amazon same day, next day can't be beat.
