Something should be added to product photos for reference of scale. This is smaller and lighter than expected, but not by much. Oddly, it works out for the better as it turns out to be the perfect height, width, and depth for the selected spot in my bedroom. I have it configured as a side-by-side, like in the photo. Pay attention to the instructions before starting assembly, and you'll have a much smoother and swifter experience.

A smart investment to create more room

I had been looking at options for shelves in my closet where I have one shelf across with 32" of mostly wasted space above it. Other shelving options had me well over $100. On sale, these shelves were the perfect fit at a tremendous bargain. They were exactly the depth of the existing shelf (11-1/2") and, put together as in the photo, I had 21"  remaining of width where I put some tall objects (on the right, out of the photo). Now I can pack away a lot more clutter from my small house so I don't look so much like a hoarder. :) They're sturdy and the adjustable feet helped to make them so: the existing shelf isn't perfectly flat but now all legs are solidly on it. Here's the thing to know when assembling: the "lip" on each shelf should face up not down. This is not in the instructions. If you try to position the lip facing down, the round hole on each shelf corner won't fit over the plastic connector. Can be assembled in many configurations. You'll see I put them together in a way not shown. Super happy!

Configurable and sturdy

these are affordable and they're very sturdy. I put mine up in about 10 to 15 minutes tops. I bought five of larger sized ones for my kitchen and closet. I like that it comes in the color gray because the stainless ones are too shiny and I didn't want to put black in my kitchen. I do have a black one in my bathroom that I bought 5 years ago same brand and they all work great. I highly recommend these wire shelving racks...

The rack itself is good. It holds the weight of my kitchen appliances. I gave 4 stars instead of 5  because the instruction manual was not easy to understand. I made quite a few mistakes before finally getting it configured how I wanted it because the instruction manual was not user friendly.

Great shelving unit!!! I ended up making two separate shelves and they are perfect for my space and hold everything I need. Assembly was a learning curve, but once I figured it out, it was easy. No tools needed! This is exactly what I was looking for and the price couldn't be beat.

Great Value, Learning Curve to Assemble

It took me awhile to figure out how the clasps work (I am mechanically challenged). After I understood the process, setting it up was a breeze. It does the job I wanted it for, so I am quite pleased with my purchase. I love that I can change the design if I choose to.

Great adaptable shelving

Would I recommend? Yes. BUT, not for all purposes. This style of shelving is very convenient and adjustable and this is no different. There were a few things I failed to notice (or it wasn't in description) about this unit. Even though is says Heavy Duty - the upright poles are about 1/2" diameter, not the 1" you usually see. I won't be testing the weight limit on the unit but that alone doesn't give me the "heavy duty" vibes.  The shelves are also what I consider "upside down" so you have a lip on all sides of the shelf. If that's your need, it's no problem but I ordered for storage and I anticipated overhang. Now everything sits at an angle over the lip on the front of the shelf. Going back and looking thoroughly at the pictures, this is evident so that's on me, but, in my defense, after looking at the plethora of pictures of the online options, I was a little cross eyed by the time I ordered.  I was drawn in by the tremendous "sales price", I'll admit, however, after seeing the unit in person, I wouldn't have paid that as a normal price and can't believe that I saw over $55 in savings at what I did pay.  Now, as a plant stand or storage in a children's room, this could be appropriate but I'd see it in the $20-25 price point. I don't see it as heavy duty at all.

Has purpose but not Heavy Duty

Super easy to put together, but unfortunately, this package I received - or maybe it's like that all the time? - had the shelves upside down. There was no way to assemble this without having a "basket" style shelf, which limited what I could put on the shelves.  The shelves are a bit on the small side, width and depth, although that's clearly discussed in the description. If you just want to use it for a pantry, it's going to be great. Otherwise, it didn't seem very sturdy. Price is good, if you can work around the size and upside down shelves.

Adequate for Price

This item was missing poles. there  only 8 poles packed in the box. 4 top and 4 bottom poles. There were however 5 wire racks. I'm very disappointed in this product but since I did not put it together until now, and  it's too late to return item or get my money back.

The dimensions advertised are completely wrong. It claims the shelving is 24” wide by 14” deep, but in reality is only 20” wide x 11” deep and wobbles. I ordered storage containers based on the promised dimensions and had to return them as well. Deeply disappointed.
